Dr. Jon Christiansen

Dr. Jon Christiansen grew up in Blanding, Utah, where he graduated from San Juan High School. He then attended Southern Utah University (SUU) on an academic and art scholarship. While working on his Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Dr. Christiansen researched the wildlife in nearby Zions National Park. After graduating from SUU in 2001, he attended the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in Fullerton, California. At SCCO, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a scoutmaster for two and a half years. He graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry in 2006. While at SCCO, he was a four-time recipient of the Dixon Scholarship award, the Diehl Scholarship for excellence in treating and managing ocular disease, and the SCCO Faculty’s Valedictorian aw
